Aim
The primary aim of the project was to embody the B Corp's values of sustainability and social responsibility into Fishfinger's business model, with the overall goal of obtaining B Corp Certification.
Solution
transformacy assessed Fishfinger’s baseline governance, social, and environmental performance, using greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations, employee satisfaction surveys, and a detailed review of existing operational practices. This evaluation formed a crucial first step in measuring their impact, identifying gaps, and uncovering opportunities for improvement on the path toward B Corp certification.
We then worked closely with Fishfinger to design and refine policies that would meet B Corp’s rigorous social and environmental standards - covering areas such as ethical supply chain management, diversity and inclusion, and sustainable resource use - ensuring their practices not only met certification requirements but also authentically reflected the values they aim to champion.
Results & Benefits
We worked closely with Fishfinger to review their practices and develop new policies, including enhanced parental leave and annual volunteering days, to better align with their values. Through these efforts and ongoing collaboration with B Lab, we are pleased to announce that Fishfinger has successfully achieved B Corp certification - an important milestone in their commitment to social and environmental responsibility.
