The Olive Oil Guy is dedicated to supplying world-class, single-origin Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) from honest farms across the Mediterranean. Founded by Mazen, a certified olive oil sommelier, international competition judge, and culinary lecturer, the company's mission is to demystify the olive oil industry, combat fraud, and champion olive oil as a true craft.
They source 'liquid gold' from countries including Greece and Italy, offering a curated selection that includes single-origin EVOO, infused oils (e.g., lemon, chilli, and black truffle), and sommelier-selected gift boxes. The Olive Oil Guy emphasises quality, transparency, and education, ensuring all their products are certified by a sommelier and implementing an 'open chain' sourcing process to guarantee authenticity for their customers.
Aim
The primary aim was to embed B Corp's rigorous standards of social and environmental performance into The Olive Oil Guy's operations, reinforcing their foundational commitment to transparency and ethical sourcing of 'liquid gold. The ultimate goal was to successfully achieve B Corp Certification.

Transformacy conducted a comprehensive assessment of The Olive Oil Guy's operations, focusing on governance, social, and environmental performance baselines.
A key element of this process involved a detailed analysis of their supplier and customer base to ensure ethical and sustainable practices throughout the value chain - from Mediterranean farms to the end consumer.
