Gap Analysis

We review your documented processes to determine if your Environmental Management System (EMS) aligns with ISO 14001 requirements.

 

The assessment length varies based on your organisation’s size and industry. After the assessment, you will receive a report outlining areas and requirements that must be addressed to obtain ISO 14001 certification.

Implementation

Working with you, we will implement ISO 14001 compliant policies and processes identified in the Gap Analysis Report, ensuring that the appropriate checks and controls to mitigate the risk of an adverse environmental impact are present.

 

The aim is to fully implement a fit for purpose EMS and mandatory documentation required, ready for the Stage 1 Certification Body Audit.

Stage 1 Audit

The Stage 1 ISO 14001 audit is an initial review to assess whether your organisation is prepared for the full certification audit (Stage 2). This step examines your documented EMS and ensures you understand the standard’s requirements. Its purpose is to highlight any gaps or areas for improvement before moving on to the comprehensive Stage 2 audit.

Implementation

Based on the findings of the Stage 1 audit, we provide recommendations for improvement and help plan the Stage 2 audit. 

 

We work closely with you to rectify any non-conformities ensuring that you are 100% ready for the Stage 2 audit.

Stage 2 Audit

The Stage 2 ISO 14001 audit is the final on-site evaluation to confirm your organisation’s EMS meets certification requirements. This assessment examines how effectively your EMS is implemented, including a review of documentation, staff interviews, and an assessment of operational controls.
