B Corporations are certified by B Lab, meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. To achieve certification, companies must complete the B Impact Assessment (BIA) and score at least 80 points, in addition to fulfilling certain legal requirements.

Our Methodology

Step 1- BIA Baseline

The process of certification starts with a B Impact Assessment (BIA). This allows us to gain a confident understanding of your current performance within the B Corp framework.

Step 2- Gap Analysis

Armed with the results of your initial BIA we conduct an appraisal to understand delta between the baseline and a successful BIA score. We assess the effort required to successfully certify.

Step 3- Go | No Go

The journey to achieving B Corp certification will be different for every business dependent on the market, country and size of the company. Armed with the gap analysis a formal Go | No Go decision is required.

Step 4- BIA Action Plan

Using the gap analysis a comprehensive project plan is created. This plan serves as the foundation for all change management, implementation and governance.

Step 5- Evidence Gathering

In order to substantiate the reported impact your business makes a 'data room' is built to support the B Corp due diligence. This data room will contain all evidence to support claims made in the final BIA.

Step 6- BIA Verification

We coordinate and lead your response through the completion of the final updated BIA and submission used to formally certify your company B Corp.
